Mining Rights Amendment Act, No. 50 of 1983

Long title


To amend the Mining Rights Act, 1967, so as to make further provision regarding the payment to the State of shares of the profits derived from the disposal of precious metals and base minerals derived from land held under certain mining leases; to further regulate the powers of the South African Police in the application of Chapter XVI; to authorise the Commissioner of the South African Police to delegate certain powers conferred upon him; and to substitute certain obsolete designations; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
