KwaZulu-Natal Traditional Leadership and Governance Act, No. 5 of 2005

Long title

To provide for the recognition of traditional communities; to provide for the establishment and recognition of traditional councils; to provide for the recognition of traditional leaders, and for their rules and functions; to provide for the recognition of Isilo as the Monarch of the Province of KwaZulu-Natal; to provide for the removal of a traditional leader from office; to provide for Houses of Traditional Leaders; to provide for a Code of Conduct for traditional leaders; to provide for the repeal of certain laws; and to provide for incidental matters.
