Mpumalanga Housing Act, No. 15 of 1998

Long title

To provide for the promotion and facilitation of housing development within the Province of Mpumalanga; to define the roles, responsibilities, powers and functions that fall under the executive authority of the Province in respect of the functional area of housing and related areas of provincial competence as set out in Schedule 4 to the Constitution; to provide for the abolition of the Mpumalanga Housing Board and the establishment of the Mpumalanga Housing Development Board; to provide for the functions of municipalities pertaining to housing development; to provide for the establishment of a provincial housing development fund; and to provide for matters connected therewith.
