Long title

To amend the North West Parks and Tourism Board Act, 1997, so as to provide for the repeal of certain sections which refer to the North West Tourism Council; to provide for the repeal of specific sections of the Protected Areas Act, 1987; to provide for certain transitional arrangement regarding employees and their terms and conditions of service; to confirm the Board as the legal successor to the board of Directors appointed in terms of the Protected Areas Act, 1987; to provide for the retrospective operation of the North West Parks and Tourism Board Act, 1997; and to provide for matters incidental thereto.
