Western Cape Gambling and Racing
Amendment Act, No. 4 of 1997
Long title
To amend the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Law, 1996, so as to adjust certain definitions; to better define the powers and functions of the responsible Member and the Board; to provide for the death or disability of licence holders; to provide for fractions and unclaimed dividends; to provide for interim measures relating to operation and possession of gambling devices and manufacturers of gambling devices; to provide for Value Added Tax on fees levied in terms of this Law; to effect certain technical amendments to the text; and to provide for matters incidental thereto.
