Western Cape Ninth Gambling and
Racing Amendment Act, No. 11 of 2000
Long title
To amend the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Law, 1996, so as to amend certain definitions and insert others, to dispense with race course and race course premises licences, to create exceptions to the obligation to advertise certain licence applications, to provide for procedures compelling holders of operator licences to disclose cheating and other contraventions of the Law or another similar law to the Board, to regulate methods of operation by licence holders, to provide for forfeiture of items to the Province in cases where an admission of guilt fine is paid and to provide for matters incidental thereto.
