State
Land Disposal Amendment Act, No. 28 of 1968
Long title To amend the definition in section 1 of the State Land Disposal Act, 1961; to amend section 2 of the said Act so as to authorize the disposal also under the said Act of State Land, the disposal of which is governed by another law except a provincial ordinance; and to authorize the Minister of Agriculture when State land is alienated in favour of any person, to impose a restriction on the separate alienation of such land and other immovable property belonging to such person; to insert section 2A in the said Act so as to authorize the State President to dispose of certain rights of the State in respect of land; to repeal section 4 of the said Act so as to remove the prohibition on the alienation of rights to minerals on or in State land; to amend section 6 of the said Act so as to authorize the State President also to delegate his powers under section 2A to the said Minister; and to provide for incidental matters.
