The Science-Based Rule of Law Model: What Changes When You Understand the Mechanics
Unless the mechanics of the ROL are understood, ROL interventions cannot pinpoint what needs to be done to obtain what predicted effects of interventions. Usually, based on correlational evidence, it is assumed that boosting democracy will enhance the ROL, which will stabilize that democracy, which will entrench the ROL. However, despite widespread interventions based on this model to improve the ROL, or enhance democracy, the effects have been hit and miss. This paper identifies missing parts of the puzzle – what gives rise to the ROL, its mechanics and its predicted effects. It is offered as a discussion piece for those within the field of state governance, the ROL and democracy.

ROL Oath & Affirmation Pro App
Establishing the truth is fundamental to the ROL, in particular between components of state whose access to and exercise of power depend on and must synchronize with other components of state. Statutory hearings where information is given on oath or affirmation are a core source of information between them. The Science-based model of the ROL utilizes the oath/affirmation “to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth” as the ROL standard oath/affirmation.
The ROL Oath & Affirmation App provides a working model for the application of the standard oath/affirmation which takes it beyond simply telling the truth, to telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It includes examples of non compliance with its extended meaning, a method to obtain a witness self-assessment of whether they have made omissions, and an opportunity to for the witness to record and seal reasons for their omissions and the content of those for purposes of establishing or defending a charge of perjury
