OVERVIEW of LegalB's Rule of Law Database
LegalB hosts a database of primary and secondary annotated legislation texts, audited against basic Rule of Law Standards that are founded on fundamental principles of the Rule of Law, as a basis for rule of law consultancy services. ... It also hosts a database of information upon which those audits are based, which includes Overviews of legislation texts, Links to official original texts, Annotated texts, Timeline data, Subordinate texts lists, Rule of Law Commentaries and Legal tools of analysis relevant to the rule of law. ... The public are able to access overviews of, and links to official publications of legislation containing unamended text of, national and provincial legislation promulgated 1994 on and often before, on a “free to access” basis, and are welcome to request further information. ... The LegalB database is compiled and maintained by Advocate Rita Felgate who specialises in the practical measurement and application of the rule of law as they relate to legal matters.
