LINKS AND SOURCES OF AFRICAN LEGISLATION
If you cannot find particular legislation or information in our Law for Africa database, you could try one of the numerous links to African legislation on the net. You are welcome to contact us to ask us to post your request for information on our EPA Forum.
There are a number of websites you may visit to hunt down particular legislation. Some of these are listed below:
http://faolex.fao.org/faolex/index.htm http://www.hg.org/1table.html#A http://www.ecolex.org/index.php http://www.unep.org/padelia/index.html http://www.loc.gov/law/guide/guideindex.html http://www.law.du.edu/naturalresources/weblinks/countries.cfm
Please note that, although many of these sites appear to be well designed, comprehensive and thorough, this is on occasion not the case. Like our Law of Africa, the databases available are largely under construction, even although this is not admitted! So thorough research is needed to determine the status of the legislation you find on these web pages and the links on them
